This project is because of collaborative initiatives by members of the community including the Churches Outreach Network, Interfaith Clergy, East Carolina University in effort to promote information about health needs of the community. It seeks to give a faith voice to health concerns that the community encounters daily. Many faiths offer lessons about healthy living.

Mission

Faith Empowers Healthy Lifestyle is a forum that advocates for collaboration of faith actors, health experts and policy makers towards empowering communities to embrace a health lifestyle. This forum serves to educate and to promote conversations of health issues that communities in Eastern North Carolina and the country deal with daily.
